Partnering with the City of Berkeley, local run clubs, charities and businesses, Berkeley Half Marathon was created to give local runners a race on their home turf and celebrate the Berkeley community. Berkeley Half Marathon has aligned with local non-profit organization, Berkeley Public Schools Fund, since its inaugural year. Funds raised by runners support programs that enrich educational opportunities throughout Berkeley. 2017 marks the 5th running of Berkeley Half Marathon since its inception in 2013.
