The BERC Group is an independent evaluation, research, and consulting firm focused on putting research into practice. Our mission is to skillfully gather, analyze, and use data to inform, inspire, and improve schools. The BERC Group associates are education professionals with K-20 experience as teachers, psychologists, professors and administrators. We gather and analyze data (Evaluation). We help organizations understand the data in the context of effective practices (Research). We provide guidance in how to use the data to promote and support reform/change efforts (Consulting). The BERC Group provides an experienced third-party perspective to the school improvement process. Instead of stumbling blindly through educational change, we inform educators with formative and summative, in-depth data collection. Instead of submitting sterile, disengaging reports, we inspire people with engaging personal presentations and multimedia report packages.
