The Benefit Network is a nonprofit 501(c)3 tax-exempt California public benefit educational entertainment corporation. Our mission is to produce benefit events and projects that raise awareness and funds for worthy causes eg. homelessness, peace, environment. Our primary purpose is to produce projects and events that: o raise public consciousness re: urgent social and environmental needs o educate the public on current solutions o raise funds for nonprofit organizations providing solutions The Benefit Network is run by volunteers, spearheaded by activist/artist Barbara Peck, who founded the organization in 1987. All projects are created on an individual basis and, thanks to our non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt status and the help of industry professionals who volunteer their time and expertise, we get freebies, cut rates and "pro bono" services to help us with our projects.
