The Beerhouse Information

As many of you are aware our industry along with many others is experiencing unprecedented staffing challenges coming out of this pandemic. For various reasons service personnel are not quite ready to return to the workplace. The Beerhouse is no exception and has been experiencing nearly impossible scheduling challenges resulting in random daily closures, less than stellar customer service and added workplace stress to our current employees. The good news is that we were planning a major remodel of the bar, dining room and back room for late summer 2021 when business typically slows down. In addition, we are completely redoing our menu, technology and service model to work within the confines of the crazy new norm. The employment challenges we are all facing has forced us to accelerate our construction schedule. Effective immediately we will be closing until mid-July to work on construction, systems upgrades and employee training. What is happening to all of your staff? Perhaps the most important question have no fear, we are taking care of our staff and transferring them to The Hall in Valley Junction and The Clubhouse at Sun Valley Lake. Why will construction take 2 months? If you have stayed up on current events then you know that building materials are in high demand and short supply due to COVID-19, contractors are struggling to hire employees and government agencies are slow to provide permits and inspections due to reduced workforces. What are the changes being made? We have learned a thing or two about fast service and experiential retail at The Hall in Valley Junction and are super excited to apply what weve learned to The Beerhouse. The rest is a secret but we will be releasing architectural details and progress photos over the next month. Stay tuned!
