The Beer Yard Information

Formally established in 2004, the mission of BeerAppreciation LLC is to first educate people about the rich world of beer-its culture, styles, history, ingredients and stories. We teach Beer Appreciation Classes at local night schools and other venues, and on request for bars and restaurants. Our staff coordinates and leads beer tasting and beer dinner events, to share beer knowledge and enjoyment. Our other primary goal is to promote the great local beer establishments in the Philadelphia region. These include world class local breweries (Yards, Manayunk, Victory, etc.) and fine craft beer oriented establishments (Teresa's Next Door, Oakmont National Pub, TJ's Everyday, Gullifty's, etc.). We continue to be a valued resource for local beer enthusiasts, and help and support our local producers and hosts. Our services include: Beer Education for Beer Enthusiasts-Classes for the curious and the enthusiasts, people with an interest in beer and want to experience more.
