In early 2010, Alain Ferrier and Ma’or Harris merged their freelance businesses to create an Events Management and Event Development agency. Beanstalk was created predominantly to cater for their existing clients and to pool their collective skills in event creation, project management and music, and since then the business has grown to incorporate event strategy and creative solutions for other events agencies as well as corporate and non-corporate brands. It all started with Beanstalk doing their own events; that’s where the initial creativity and flare for the event industry came from. Complete freedom to do what Beanstalk believed would be the best strategy to go by, and design the consumer experience from start to finish. Brands and promoters caught sight of Beanstalk’s talent, giving them the opportunity to refine their skills, based on new client requirements. Situated in the design capital of Cape Town, Beanstalk are now positioned as the go-to-guys within the area, and stretch their talents to Johannesburg, where they continue to demonstrate their passion and reliable events production and development techniques, delivering events of high standard and value for money to their customers. Currently Beanstalk produce the CAPE TOWN WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL, BALKANOLOGY SERIES and WORLD MUSIC STAGES at top local festivals, ROCKING THE DAISIES and OPPIKOPPI.
