The Baylon Group was established in 2001 by interior designer Carolyn Baylon. Founding partner of the Los Angeles based hospitality firm - Pasadena Studio is currently working globally on projects around the US. The Baylon Group is a recognized design firm, highly sought after for her award-winning designs as well as their commitment to their relationships with her clients. Carolyn studied Interior- architecture at the Harrington school of design in Chicago and completed her degree at the Los Angeles Art institute of design,and followed her passion in the culinary arts. arolyn Baylon has a real estate background and wide interest in development and has worked with many restaurant and hospitality groups to design and build their brands. As a driving force in the hospitality arena, Principal Partner and design director of The Baylon Hospitality Group, Her highly sought after team of senior designers and architects, Craft builders are designing spaces for hospitality groups and award winning chefs around the Us, Carolyn Baylon work has been featured in publications such as Interior Design, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, Hospitality Design,the LA art show- recognized for James Beard Foundation. The studio is currently developing a project for the Kimpton Hotel Sacramento for renowned chef Sam Marvin designing Echo and Rig. Our philosophy is that every project we undertake is bespoke. We work extensively both with branded concepts and independent restaurants, and ensure each interior space has a unique identity whether it is a one-off or part of a bigger brand. We are sensitive to the fabric and location of the buildings we work with and create concepts that uniquely work for that particular locality and space location of the project. With a strong track record of producing designs that are Crafty and timeless. we work to a fixed budget and ensure a sound commercial investment for our clients We believe that effective communication and flexibility are essential to new business ventures. For this reason, we offer an initial consultation where new projects can be discussed in further detail so that the client's brief is fully understood. In this initial consultation the client's vision for their new business, the intended market audience, details of the site and resources available going forward are discussed. Based on this initial consultation we will prepare a written brief and proposal of how best to go forward; whether it's developing a new interior concept for a business plan or working with the client to visualize and implement their new brand.
