The Art Department Information

The Art Department is an online art school dedicated to the training and preparation of artists for today’s professional art world. At TAD, we strive to impart the skills and techniques necessary for our students to work at a professional level, as well as build vibrant careers in the arts and entertainment fields. Our program begins with three semesters of foundations classes designed to provide the fundamentals of both traditional and digital art, building a framework for our four Industry Programs. The Art Department’s students may choose between our Drawing & Painting, Illustration, Entertainment 2D, and Entertainment 3D Programs. TAD’s programs are tailored to a specific professional art industry and designed by artists currently working in the field. As an online school, TAD can offer busy students the opportunity to take part in live classes, or watch recordings of those classes at a later date. An education from The Art Department is available to students worldwide.
