The Applied Research Center LLC Information

The Applied Research Center, LLC, is an affiliate of the Economic Development Partnership. It currently operates six laboratories and offices at Aiken County's Savannah River Research Campus. ARC is a non-profit company with the mission to commercialize selected technology from universities, federal agencies, and private companies. ARC is currently working on glass technology, hybrid microwave technology, hydrogen and renewable technology. ARC's Hitachi SU 8230 Scanning Electron Microscope is the most advanced device of its kind in the southeast and has been used by private companies, universities and laboratories throughout the United States.
