At The Anchor, we provide a safe, steady, and non-clinical space for men, women, and families across Inverclyde. Our mission is to prevent suicide through our three key services: Stability: Immediate support through a programme to prevent suicide. Connection: Longer-term peer and social support to combat isolation and loneliness. Belonging: Community outreach programmes with partners to support wider mental health. Who We Are Formerly Man On, we have evolved into The Anchor - an inclusive charity dedicated to suicide prevention and community wellbeing. Our identity is built on professional competence delivered with a sincere, approachable heart. What We Do We offer a range of services designed to build stability and foster relationships, including: Crisis Support: Immediate, accessible help for those in distress. Peer Support Groups: Social connection for adults and young people to combat isolation. Youth Services: Specialised resources focused on anxiety, school stress, and mood regulation. Training: We are Living Works licensed and Public Health Scotland-approved trainers, providing evidence-based suicide prevention education. Our Identity We use our bold identity - the bright yellow anchor against the dark blue sea - as a symbol of the visibility and hope we bring to those navigating difficult times.
