CATIE is Canada’s source for HIV and hepatitis C information, and so much more. We increase knowledge about sexual health and substance use, we build the capacity of service providers to deliver prevention, testing and treatment services, and we promote policies and programs proven to work based on research, practice and lived experience.
CATIE est la source canadienne de renseignements sur le VIH et l’hépatite C et bien plus encore. Nous renforçons les connaissances sur la santé sexuelle et l’usage de substances; nous renforçons la capacité des prestataires de services en matière d’offre de services de prévention, de dépistage et de traitement; et, enfin, nous encourageons des politiques et des programmes dont le bon fonctionnement a été prouvé sur la base de la recherche, de la pratique et de l’expérience vécue.
Founded in 1983 by a group of community volunteers as the AIDS Committee of Toronto, today ACT provides sexual health, mental health, social support and employment programs for people living with HIV, and those at risk of HIV, so that they can achieve their optimal health.
OHTN is a collaborative group of people with HIV, community-based agencies, health care providers, government policy makers, educators and researchers in Ontario.The network supports and conducts high quality research to help end the HIV epidemic and share the best available evidence with those who can put that knowledge into action.
