Thatcher Foundations Inc. is a specialty design/build construction company performing work in the greater Chicagoland area and are licensed in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin. Thatcher designs and installs deep foundations, earth retention systems, and marine construction projects. Founded in 1946 as Thatcher Engineering Corporation, Thatcher has been in the construction business for over 70 years. Our focus is education in the latest engineering developments and best practices which has led to innovative solutions to complex construction challenges for owners and general contractors. We provide the following services: driven piling, earth retention systems, marine construction, micropiles and deep foundations. We also have highly-specialized equipment and procedures to meet that difficult special project.
