Thardeep Microfinance Foundation Information

TRDP’s Microfinance Programme has transitioned through different phases as it has evolved through learning and experience. The Microfinance Programme began in November 1996, when the management and Board of Directors discussed initiating microcredit services. The most pressing need was to develop the capabilities of the human resources and to establish viable systems that can facilitate effective programme delivery at the grass root level. The partnership with PPAF provided TRDP with the opportunity to benefit from technical assistance and strategic guidance, along with financial support.
