Kiama Tourism is an industry-based, not for profit organisation which was established in 1986. Kiama Tourism was a joint initiative between Kiama Municipal Council and the local business community. Kiama Tourism currently employs 10 staff and has a team of approximately 40 volunteers. Kiama Tourism is one of the driving forces for tourism in Kiama and has the responsibility for the coordination of the tourism sector within the Local Government Area (LGA), provision of information services including the operation of the Kiama Visitors Centre (next door to the world famous blow-hole), and the marketing and promotion of the region.
