Terrain Geotechnical Consultants are a small specialist team of engineering consultants dedicated to providing our clients with swift, concise and cost effective solutions to site specific geotechnical problems. With over 40 years of combined experience of geotechnical design projects throughout the UK and overseas we are able to provide economic solutions to the geotechnical sub-contractor with the rapid response often vital to work winning. We are a small specialist engineering consultancy whose success has been built upon a high quality of service to our clients. Our strengths lie within our team of chartered engineers, who have extensive experience as practitioners in foundation engineering and of geotechnical processes on both large and small projects throughout the UK and overseas. The company was founded in 1990 by Stuart Bradshaw, our Managing Director. Stuart has extensive experience within the civil and structural engineering sector with consultants, large clients, management contractors and geotechnical sub-contractors. His combined experience both as a Chartered Structural Engineer and as a Geotechnical Engineer is an unusual combination and one that offers advantages particularly with respect to the design of geotechnical sub-structures such as embedded walls, anchors and pile foundations.
