Terlingua Threads is a new small business built from the ground up by two best friends with a sole mission: to create the world’s best hot-weather adventure apparel. The idea was born during a solo trip to Big Bend National Park when one of our founders, on a quest to visit all 63 U.S. national parks, asked, “What does it look like to stay adventurous and optimistic in a warming climate?” That question became our north star. Built solely for performance in 90ºF / 35ºC and above, whether in arid deserts or humid forests, Terlingua Threads gear has been refined through two years of research, testing, and redesign. Our products were shaped in collaboration with outdoor guides, park rangers, medical professionals, and textile experts. Each piece is crafted from natural, polyester-free hemp fabrics and handcrafted in small batches in Portugal. They’re built to last and age beautifully, wearing in rather than wearing out, like a trusted pair of leather boots. Named after Terlingua, Texas, where it all began, we design for the hottest days because we believe the best adventures are still ahead of us. Online orders from our website coming soon, with US and Australian retailers coming onboard shortly after.
