Terevaka is a US based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded and directed by Dr. Britton Shepardson. Our mission includes education, conservation, and research. The program leverages real world projects to help rural/indigenous youths combine the best of traditional knowledge and cutting-edge technology to explore culturally- and locally-sensitive trajectories to sustainable development. To date, the program has implemented its unique experiential curriculum in the Sacred Valley (Perú), Patagonia National Park (Chile), and Rapa Nui (Chile).
