The Mission of Temple Emanuel is to ensure the perpetuation of the Jewish people and to cultivate a love of our Jewish heritage: God, Torah and Israel. We are committed to: Worship (Avodah) – Strengthening our relationship with God in a Reform Jewish congregation that offers a variety of traditional and evolving spiritual practices for the religious development and fulfillment of our members. Learning (Talmud Torah) – Encouraging lifelong Jewish learning and living from generation to generation. Community (Kehillah) – Sustaining and enhancing our welcoming, dynamic, and inclusive congregational family that embraces each of us with support, care, and wisdom. Responsibility (Tikkun Olam) – Perpetuating the ideals of our Jewish ethical heritage to fulfill our responsibilities to our community, our nation, and our world. Our Jewish World (K'Lal Yisrael) – Strengthening our ties and commitment to Israel and the Jewish people of all lands and working to establish understanding and respect among the various expressions of Judaism.
