Temple Shalom of Newton is a vibrant and growing Reform Jewish community of roughly 650 families. We have a diverse congregation and a wide variety of programs and activities. Our collaborative staff and lay leaders are eager to help new and existing members engage in ways that are meaningful to them and make the process of receiving and sharing information smooth and efficient.

Founded in 1845 as the first Reform Jewish Congregation in New York City, Temple Emanu-El is among the largest Jewish Houses of Worship in the world. We continue to build upon the legacy of leadership and the timeless values of Jewish tradition as we strive toward a more just, ethical and compassionate world. Temple Emanu-El offers a robust religious school program for children of all ages, a first-rate nursery school, the Bernard Museum of Judaica, the Stettenheim Library, a range of community events through the Streicker Center, and more. In addition, our Tikkun Olam Committee and Philanthropic Fund support a wide range of humanitarian, educational, and cultural causes, as well as initiatives that advance Reform Judaism and strengthen our connection to Israel. We are a community of warmth and awareness where every individual matters. We embrace our diverse membership and offer all who comprise it a meaningful life grounded in Judaism. Congregation B'nai Torah (CBT) is a vibrant and engaging congregation located in one of the most dynamic Jewish communities in the United States. B'nai Torah has grown from 300 plus families to 730 families in the last eight years. CBT offers diverse and engaging opportunities for prayer, learning, and celebrations for people of all ages through traditional, family-style, and participatory services and programs. CBT has a strong preschool, religious school, Yeladim and USY youth group chapters for teens, a Young Adults group, and Sisterhood and Brotherhood auxiliaries, in addition to program groups for adults. B'nai Torah is committed to our social action programs in Atlanta and around the world. We are currently in the middle of a $5 million capital campaign to renovate and expand our campus.
