The Why Tempat.com started because we see there are many local businesses under Services Sector in Indonesia haven't gone online; haven't reap the full benefit of internet access in Indonesia. Kominfo in Feb 2019 stated that there are 62.9 Million Local Businesses in Indonesia, yet only 15.2% of them Go Online which mainly are the ones selling physical products. Go Online actually means promoting their services online. This is saddening as local business under Services Sector are left behind while it is actually contributing 45% of Indonesia's GDP (US$ 450 Billion, World Bank). Local Businesses under Services Sector hasn't really realize the fully potential and benefit out of 137.2 Million internet users in Indonesia. We want to take part in making it happen.
