The network launched on December 25, 2008. It has been stated by executives that more distributors will be broadcasting the channel as well. World #1 tennis doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan are investors, as is Olympic moguls gold medalist Jonny Moseley. It was founded by Steve Bellamy who also founded Tennis Channel television network.
