Founded by four industry professionals with over 85 years of collective experience, TKW exists to inspire collaboration across the tech trades and to mobilize the talents of our members in service of others. What started as an online knowledge-sharing community has evolved into a movement rooted in our core belief: #communityOVERcompetition. Whether partnering on projects, mentoring peers, or sharing advice through Slack, TKW members are building something greater than the sum of its parts. Small businesses regularly connect with larger firms and new markets, growing their capabilities and forging real-world partnerships that extend beyond the screen. TKW also partners with best-in-class manufacturers and distributors who believe in our mission. Together, we have donated nearly $1 Million Dollars in products and services through TEKSGiving, our annual philanthropic event which has supported a domestic abuse & sex trafficking shelter, a bi-lingual preschool, an inner city youth fitness gym, & a church which serves as a community hub which includes a school and food pantry. TKW also invests in the education and training of its members at TEKFest - our tech conference where guest speakers, vendors and members teach other the tricks of the trade in a formal & hands on setting.
