teknoCEA Information

teknoCEA is a spin-off company from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC - BarcelonaTECH) providing custom power electronics components, systems and services to companies and research labs in power electronics, automation and power systems. teknoCEA was founded in 2012 by professors and researchers at the CITCEA-UPC Technology Transfer Centre bringing more than 20 years of experience in power converters, DSP based digital control, industrial communications, and power systems analysis. Our main mission is to help companies speed up the implementation of power electronics technology, projects and research. We provide our customers with a range of products, systems and services to help them meet their goals while minimizing investments in lab facilities, reducing risks in research outcomes and keeping operating costs within budget. We offer a set of standard products such as power converters, DSP based control boards with JTAG programmers, voltage and current sensors and interface boards. Our customers can assemble them into a larger and more complex system or we can develop the system for our customers following their specifications. Moreover, we offer engineering services to help design, model and analyse power systems. teknoCEA portfolio is the result of the expertise after many years designing and developing equipment and systems for research purposes as well as for the industrial and utility sectors.
