Tejas Health Management (Tejas), a non-profit association,was formed to increase the efficiency of care delivery, improve the engagement with private health plan payers, and expand the service potential for Community Behavioral Health Centers and other Community-Based Organizations throughout Texas. Tejas was formed through a collaboration among three Community Centers: Integral Care, Bluebonnet Trails Community Services, and the Center for Health Care Services. Additional Members who joined later are Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, and Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Center. Each Center demonstrates leadership and innovation in the health arena for over 40 years.
