Snøhetta is an international integrated architecture and design firm. The practice has a global presence, with offices spanning from Oslo, Paris, and Innsbruck, to New York, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Melbourne. For almost 40 years, Snøhetta has designed some of the world’s most notable public and cultural projects. Snøhetta kick-started its career in 1989 with the competition-winning entry for the new library of Alexandria, Egypt. This was later followed by the commission for the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet in Oslo, and the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion at the World Trade Center in New York City, among many others. Since its inception, the practice has maintained its original transdisciplinary approach, and often integrates a combination of architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, product design and art across its projects. The collaborative nature between Snøhetta's different disciplines is an essential driving force of the practice.

There are three principle agents which cooperate in providing housing for the Norwegian population; the National Government, municipal authorities and private firms and organizations. The Norwegian State Housing Bank is the main agency implementing Norwegian housing policy.

LPO arkitekter er i dag et av landets ledende arkitektkontor med 120 ansatte og 77 partnere. Vi håndterer komplekse prosjekter innenfor plan, arkitektur og transformasjon på alle nivåer fra mulighetsstudier, prosjektering og oppfølging til ferdig bygg. Som en engasjert samfunnsaktør, etterstreber vi å lage gode, helhetlige løsninger for brukerne og samfunnet som helhet der både bærekraft og innovasjon ivaretas. Med eget kontor på Svalbard har vi også opparbeidet spisskompetanse innen arktisk arkitektur. Vi har et godt rykte hos våre oppdragsgivere og blitt premiert med flere utmerkelser både i Norge og i utlandet.
