Welcome to Teen Therapy Center of Silicon Valley! In our specialty center focused solely on the mental health of teenagers and their families, our practice works to create better, healthier, and more symbiotic relationships between you and your teen. We help your adolescent process their emotions and give them coping tools they can carry throughout their life. We support your teen in building confidence and self-esteem, as they explore and learn about themselves. Here are some key areas where we can make a difference for teens: - Provide strategies to reduce anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness, or self-doubt - Motivate teens to find safe, healthy coping skills to replace unhealthy coping skills such as self-harm behaviors and sexual acting out - Assist teens to improve self-esteem and gain a sense of belonging, competence and responsibility - Guide teens in learning how to manage anger or control impulsive behavior - Work with teens to learn how to cope with traumatic events such as death of a loved one or physical/sexual abuse - Help teens learn to express themselves appropriately and to improve communication - Support teens in learning how to manage difficult changes in the family or community - Provide teens with renewed hope and optimism With so many temptations and choices, a teen can benefit from help to sort through feelings, values, and goals with guidance from a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist. Since 2010, we have had the pleasure of serving more than 2,099 clients, in over 45,195 sessions with our dedicated team of 16. To best fit your schedule, therapists see clients seven days a week including afternoons and evenings and provide the following services: individual teen therapy, family therapy, group therapy, parent support counseling, and in-home teen and family coaching. We see clients in person at our San Jose office and also offer virtual sessions to provide busy families with greater choices and flexibility.
