Today, the foundation holds events all over the world in over 100 languages, backed by the slogan of ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’. TEDx is a platform where noteworthy ideas can be shared with the hope of spreading them within the community. A TEDx event is a local gathering where live talks similar to ones delivered at a TED event and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. These events are planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique in its own manner with the general structure remaining the same.
