We’re a team of dedicated volunteers who work hard in our community to put on the TEDxLeamingtonSpa event and uphold TED’s ethos of ‘ideas worth spreading’. Here are some facts about TEDxLeamingtonSpa: - We’ve inspired over 5 million people with our TED Talks worldwide - We’re one of 3,800 worldwide TEDx events and one of the most watched UK TEDx events online - Our team has over 30 volunteers by event day - As a not-for-profit we rely on support from local businesses – so far we’ve worked with 30 different businesses - Our mailing list has 2000 subscribers - There’ll be 250 paying attendees at our next event Our next event, 'Outsiders' takes place Sat 9th November at Royal Leamington Spa College - There's 25 seats left! About TEDx In the spirit of ‘ideas worth spreading’, TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These community-based events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx programme, but individual TEDx events are self-organised
