TEDxKabul celebrates the stories, ideas, and innovations of Afghans effecting positive change in their communities. By bringing together Afghan change-makers, artists, and innovators, we hope to showcase the true, and often forgotten, character of Kabul: a city that is innovative, entrepreneurial, and forward-looking. TEDxKabul started in 2012 with around 200 attendees, and has grown every year. In 2015 we will host around 600 attendees, and for the first time TEDxKabul will be streamed live. Our goal is to give voice for those who can not be heard otherwise.
