TEDxGrandRapids Information

What is TEDxGrandRapids? TEDxGrandRapids, inspired by TED talks, will bring 16 Innovators from diverse fields and from all over the world to share their personal stories of innovation with over 500 local thinkers and doers on May 12th at the Civic Theatre. Innovate X (where "x" is an undefined variable) is our theme and an open-ended invitation to Speakers and Attendees to consider new ideas from an infinite range of fields. It's about ideas that change the way we see, think and do. What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxGrandRapids, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGrandRapids event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
