TEDxFiesole Information

"Becoming conscious of the global community of destiny — our solidarity on and with this planet — should be the key event of our century" Edgar Morin In September 2022 we will convey in Roman's theatre of Fiesole this first edition of TEDxFiesole, that will attempt to see our planet’s future through the lens of a renewed humanism, mindful of our need to live in solidarity with one another and in harmony with nature. In doing so, it will shine the spotlight on the extraordinary possibilities that lie ahead – in clean energy, social entrepreneurship, climate and sustainable finance, new technologies, energy access, water access, education. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
