TEDxDirigo Information

In the same spirit of the state motto, our event leads the way with ideas worth spreading from Maine’s brightest innovators and change-makers. While the event itself is our focus, we see the true benefit evolving outside of the venue, sparking connections among idea shapers and resources. We hope this inaugural event will be a catalyst for positive change in the state, where new ideas are funded and supported for the greater good of all. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDirgo, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDirigo event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
