We The Curious is an educational charity on Bristol Harbourside and South West England’s leading science centre. Our vision is of a future where everyone is included, curious and inspired by science to build a better world,together. Our interactive experience is a safe and welcoming place for people to get creative, ask questions and explore different ideas. We develop inclusive learning programmes with and for local people, from our youth careers programme to school trips for over 60,000 children a year. We partner with universities, schools and community groups to support people to explore their curiosity, make connections, improve their confidence and wellbeing. We believe that science is a shared human activity full of challenging questions, different perspectives and positive action that can transform lives. We are your local charity that works at the heart of our community to offer inclusive and accessible services. Whist we are affiliated to Mind, we are independently funded, by donations and support from local organisations Our vision is to support everyone in and around Bristol in achieving the best mental health possible Our mission uses the power of our local community to create inclusive services based on lived experience: Our Mindline and Infoline services are volunteer-led and provide the first steps to finding the right support. Our Community Wellbeing services focus on minoritised groups and prioritise co-production and leadership. Our Meeting Minds Counselling includes tailored LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent and 18-25 provision. Our Workplace Wellbeing offer includes bespoke training and consultancy for local businesses, proceeds directly fund our services.
