For more than 20 years, we have been developing technologies that significantly reduce the carbon footprint of steel production. We have created a portfolio of innovative briquettes capable of reducing emissions while improving process performance, along with modular solutions for their production. Our technology was designed to provide maximum flexibility, enabling the use of various low-carbon energy sources, including biomass, hydrogen, syngas, and methane, as well as conventional coal combined with carbon capture solutions. Our furnace technology also enables the utilization of underused raw materials and steelmaking residues, promoting a more circular and efficient approach to production. Today, we hold a robust intellectual property portfolio, with more than 170 assets across 17 patent families. In addition, we are building our first commercial plant in Marabá, in the state of Pará, Brazil. We are recognized as a symbol of industrial innovation and were honored to be among the winners of the BRICS Award. We were also the first Brazilian company to join the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT), an initiative that brings together organizations committed to actions aligned with the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At Tecnored, we believe innovation only matters when it creates a positive impact. Our solutions transform industries, benefit people, and contribute to building a more sustainable planet. By reinventing the way steel is produced, we are reinventing the way we build our world—together.
