Techso has worked with several South Pacific Governments, private sector companies, aid organisationsand community organisations to bring economic development, employment and self sustainability to the South Pacific nations. Notable projects include: The Unelco GDF Suez Vanuatu Copra milling plant,for the conversion of coconut oil into bio fuel at Vanuatu's main power generation plant. Techso was contracted to undertake the entire project from research and development, to design and manufacture of the biofuel plant, and installation of the plant on site. We continue to provide continuous technical support for the power generation plant. Techso established an entire milling operation, pre fab shed to house machineries, and storage and export facility for the Kiribati Government. The KiribatiCorpa Oil Mill processes the entire country's copra (dry coconut) for the export market and brought about much needed employment and utilized a national commodity to bring in foreign income. In Fiji, Techso established a large feed mill for Ram Sami & Sons Ltd, one of the largest poultry farms. We designed, manufactured and installed the millinclusive of bulk grain storage facilities and handling systems, automatic feed mills, mixing and dozing plant and palletizing equipment. For Namoi Rural Traders, a group of Australian farms in New South Wales region, Techso established a grain processing and splitting plant for all sorts of grains inclusive chickpeas, mung beans, pigeon peas and red lentils. This involved the installation and building storage silos, handling and grading systems. We have also carried out several studies for the SOPAC Fiji (Secretariat of the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission), South Pacific Forum Secretariat, New Zealand Overseas Development Agency, and the Commonwealth Secretariat.
