TechPlayzone Information

TechPlayzone began as a science and technology center for young people. The staff members continue to develop amazing activities for K-8th grade students who are seeking to learn programming, animation, engineering, and problem solving skills. TechPlayzone uses MIT developed resources such as SCRATCH and the App Inventor for teaching programming skills to young people. TechPlayzone uses resources developed by Carnegie Mellon for teaching LEGO Mindstorms robotics, engineering, and problem-solving skills. TechPlayzone now offers courses in the metaverse using FrameVR by Virbela. TechPlayzone students create virtual worlds and add their own 3d models into the space. As TechPlayzone grew, founder, Desh Bagley, began to receive requests for professional development training. As an impressive motivational speaker and a certified technology consultant, Desh provides executive training in the areas of project management, STEM, leadership, communication, organization, and management. Her clients include educators, non-profit staff members, and managers in Fortune 500 companies.
