Technotrend Foundation Information

Technotrend Foundation, based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, provides programmes, projects and workshops for teachers and students in Primary Education (PO), Secondary Education (VO) and (Preparatory) Vocational Education (VMBO and MBO) in The Netherlands. Core of our education projects are system thinking, future design and challenging challenges. Technotrend Foundation works closely together with the Dutch Academy for Sustainable Education (NADO) and Teachers for Climate NL since 2022. Technotrend Foundation also carries out action research together with research organisations. In this way we strive to reach futureproof and sustainable education. Technotrend Foundation started from the conviction that realisation of a sustainable society is inevitable. To reach to this goal, we educate children and young people to the knowledge and skills they need for this and their future life. Our programs and projects all contribute to one or more of these four key sustainability goals: Energy transition, Circular Economy (including waste management), Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) and Climate adaptation.
