The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of electronic waste and the pervasive digital divide.
ERA's primary goal is to reduce e-waste by reusing unwanted computers and related electronic equipment. By focusing on reuse, ERA creates the opportunity for secondary use of IT equipment by low income, high needs Canadian families and organizations. This focus allows ERA to create cleaner communities with less waste while giving back to local charities and individuals.
ERA is represented in most major cities all across Canada such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto. ERA also offers convenient pick-up locations virtually anywhere in Canada.
ERA is proud to be a leader in the Electronic Recycling sphere in Canada and intends to continue the mission of reducing and preventing unwanted computers, laptops and related electronic equipment from ending up landfills or being prematurely disposed of before reaching their maximum life cycle.
Help us create cleaner, safer and computer literate communities by donating your unwanted computers to ERA.

At The Recycling Partnership, we are solving for circularity. As a mission-driven NGO, we are committed to advancing a circular economy by building a better recycling system.
We mobilize people, data, and solutions across the value chain to reduce waste and our impact on the environment while also unlocking economic benefits. We work on the ground with thousands of communities to transform underperforming recycling programs; we partner with companies to achieve packaging circularity, increase access to recycled materials, and meet sustainability commitments; and we work with government to develop policy solutions to address the systemic needs of our residential recycling system and advance a circular economy. We foster public-private partnerships and drive positive change at every step of the recycling and circularity process.
Since 2014, we have diverted 1 billion pounds of new recyclables from landfills, avoided more than 948,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases, and driven significant reductions in targeted contamination rates.
