Technical Drafting Service Information

We recently used Technical Drafting Service to draw up our home and thought it would be prudent to describe our experience. As Owner builders we have little knowledge on drafting, or what design ideas work well, and what dont. We approached TDS with little more than a rough drawing of the house we wanted to build, coupled with a heap of requirements. Mark was very helpful in that he listened to what we needed and offered useful advice on how to achieve various facets of our design aspirations. After each consultation, Mark would implement our discussions into the drawing then ask for our feedback. What impressed us the most was that it took Mark minimal time to get the drawings back to us. This saved significant time considering five consultations were required to get the design from the initial rough sketch, to exactly what we wanted right down to the finest detail, then into working drawings. Speaking directly to the person who is drawing your home is most defiantly the best way to go (as opposed through a third party like what the major builders do). We are thrilled with the final drawings and service we received from TDS. In our opinion, this is purely attributed to Marks obvious enjoyment of his trade coupled with his extensive experience. Redback Building have worked with Mark & Sue of Technical Drafting Service for several years and have found their company professional and a pleasure to work with. Previously we have worked with them when we were involved with Cortway Constructions. We do refer people to them. We have always found them easy and friendly to deal with, they are always on hand and ready to help with all aspects of getting the plan ready for council. Their plans are neat, tidy and clear Mark and Sue have exceeded our expectations in drafting and planning our renovations and upgrades to our multi-storey music facility in Rockingham.
