TechMO Learning Center Information

TechMO Learning Center is owned and operated by Lashea Bennett. Mrs. Bennett has more than 15 years of experience teaching as a Technology Educator in public and private schools. In addition to working in education Lashea has worked in the customer service and technology industry. Ms. Lashea participated in various youth training development and nonprofit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and St. Peter Claver Catholic School working with children. In her previous position as a 4-H Program Assistant with University of Georgia, she taught a Health Rocks program which is a health living program on decision making and appropriate health knowledge. In addition, to teaching, supervisory, para-professional work, and proctoring, she prepared students for 4-H competitive events including project achievement and judging teams. Lashea saw a need for a S.T.E.A.M. program for minority students in her community and surrounding areas. In 2016 she launched TechMO, which is a technology learning center to educate and provide students with the proper tools and resources to become future leaders and in return make a difference in the community.
