TechFinity has a rich legacy of supporting the Aerospace and Defense industry, and particularly Missile Defense. With nearly two decades of experience supporting major missile defense programs such as THAAD, GMD, GBR, MEADS, and others, TechFinity has provided consulting and engineering services, been a supplier of advanced research and development, and developed advanced algorithms and software systems to support missile defense battle management capabilities. TechFinity's expertise and product development has been focused on the complex resource allocation and optimization problems associated with missile defense Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2), and on the development of advanced software and simulation test bed for algorithm development. We address the missile defense BMC2 problem by identifying the key resources and contrainst that affect individual engagements and overall mission performance. We develop a set of requirements that integrate both the system performance objectives and the underlying software and computational constraints to develop an effective solution approach. Our solution approach focuses on the implementation of a modular, distributed architecture that permits incremental updates and improvements to components to address the adaptive missile defense requirement against modern-day evolving threats. Robust analysis is coupled with advanced algorithmic techniques that providing adaptive, scalable, optimizing solutions, which are not slowed or rendered ineffective in a real-time environment by excessive computational complexity. The system and software solution provides a managable toolset that combines a robust and adaptive analysis capability with a standards-based software framework for developing effective missile defense solutions. The flexible solution approach has applicability to many program areas and uses including training scenarios and wargames, what-if simulations, and supporting real system solutions.
