Tech901 is a Memphis-based nonprofit workforce development organization focused on preparing Mid-South residents for careers in technology through its proven **Train. Certify. Employ.** model. We equip students, career changers, and working professionals with in-demand technology skills through structured, certification-driven training programs. Our approach combines instructor-led courses, hands-on labs, and industry-recognized certifications to ensure graduates are not just trained—but qualified. Tech901 works closely with employers to align training with real hiring needs, creating a reliable pipeline of entry-level IT talent across industries. Through these partnerships, we help companies grow their teams while expanding access to high-quality career opportunities. Since 2015, Tech901 has trained more than 2,500 individuals and produced over 2,300 industry-recognized certifications. Nearly 500 unique employers have hired at least one Tech901 graduate, demonstrating real demand for the skills being taught and the effectiveness of the model. Our work strengthens Memphis’s workforce infrastructure and supports long-term economic growth by positioning technology as a skillset used across industries—not just a career path.
