TECH PM Information

The TECH PM meetup group has continually evolved since conception in 2012, originally as "Sydney Project Managers", then as "PMI Sydney Chapter Meetup", followed by "Delivering Value Meetup" and then as "Future Shapers" The meetup members predominantly have some form of Project Delivery involvement. Many are Project / Program Managers, some on their journey towards PM status and hold Project Coordination or Scheduling responsibilities, whilst others perform Analysis, Coaching or Delivery roles. The membership and meetup event history shows a heavy slant toward a technology focus, with members either dedicated to the tech sector or detailing that technology is playing an increasing role in the projects that members are involved in. In 2020, the meetup group has adopted a simplified brand and focus, and renamed to TECH PM. The group has grown to over 2700 members and welcomes all professionals who are involved in the delivery of projects with a technical component. A diverse membership allows us to challenge and broaden our thinking. Regular meetup events will recommence in 2020 thanks to sponsorship from a number of PM related organisations.
