We provide an array of mobile radiological services on site at contracted correctional and private facilities, including (but not limited to) x-ray, ultrasound and mammography. Our Equipment: We are the one of the first mobile companies to offer direct capture (DR) mobile imaging in the Southeast. DR systems perform digital capture and image processing without the need to handle or process cassettes. DR systems convert x-rays directly from a digital detector panel into a digital image. DR is considered a "direct" conversion process and offers the best image detail and image enhancement software. While many of our competitors are able to offer CR digital services, we opted to wait for the true digital imaging technology to make it to the portable arena. This is because of the vast improvement that DR imaging offers over CR. Not only is the image quality light-years beyond that of CR or plain film, but the radiation exposure is lessened with DR, and there is NO processing of plates or images. Our SR-130D units will produce the images on-screen within 3 seconds of the exposure. No waiting, no wasted infirmary space, no risk of important conditions being missed or critically postponed.
