TEC was founded in 2010 by Thomas E. Cerchiara, LS, when he purchased Heinsman Land Surveying PC, a firm with over 30 years of surveying experience. For ten years prior to this Mr. Cerchiara had worked for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and with some of the largest surveying and engineering firms in the world. Mr. Cerchiara and the employees of TEC have combined a strong background of municipal surveying and complex boundary experience with over 60 years of regional surveying records and knowledge to provide complete surveying and mapping solutions for a variety of clients and project types.
