Teatrul Regina Maria Information

Having a tradition of nearly a century in Oradea's cultural landscape, Queen Marie Theatre, originally called The Oradea State Theatre, has the purpose of presenting original and valuable productions, combining tradition with the innovative spirit. The theatre’s building is one of the most significant heritage edifices in Oradea. The design was made by the famous architect company called Fellner & Helmer from Vienna, who designed over 200 buildings, mainly theatres, across Europe in the late 19th century and early 20th century.
