So in 2008, we decided to take matters into our own hands. You can choose from over 100 types of tea, including exclusive blends, limited edition seasonal collections, traditional straight teas and exotic infusions from around the world. With colourful, modern packaging, sleek in-house designed tea accessories and a friendly, welcoming attitude, DAVIDsTEA offers a tea experience that is fun, fresh and unintimidating. DAVIDsTEA is a non-Indigenous brand and company. We acknowledge that we are operating and living on largely unceded Indigenous lands that have been inhabited by many Nations for thousands of years. Tiohtià:ke (Montréal) is the home of our organization and we recognize the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation as the custodians of the land. We also recognize that this area upon which we meet daily to conduct our operations is historically known as a gathering place for many other Indigenous Peoples. 30 years ago in Salisbury, Connecticut, proprietor of the historic White Hart Inn, John Harney, developed a passion for fine teas. John was introduced to the world of tea by Stanley Mason, who turned to creating his own craft tea blends after years in the corporate world of tea. Over time, Mason taught John both the art and business of the craft. Starting production out of his basement in 1983, John began his own journey in mastering the craft of tea blending. Serving his distinctive blends with inn guests, he soon found they were coming back for more. Never did John Harney imagine that his small home-run business in Salisbury, Connecticut would turn into a global operation, now headquartered in Millerton, New York filling 90,000 square feet of warehouse space, and employing over 155 people, making it one of the largest employers in the Hudson Valley. The company, which sources, blends, and packages their own product from start to finish, has grown from their original six teas, to more than three hundred. Their story truly captures the essence of American Business Ingenuity. Harney & Sons was founded on a commitment to deliver customers the finest quality tea possible. This promise, made 30 years ago, serves as the company's guiding principle. Today, Harney & Sons Tea remains family owned and managed, with three generations of Harney's preserving John's tradition of fine tea and traveling the world in search of the finest ingredients.

Since we were founded in 1996, every day, cup by cup, we have taken the joy of tea to new heights by doing tea differently. From small beginnings in Fitzroy, Melbourne, we have grown a community of tea lovers through reimagining the humble tea leaf, the ways we brew it, serve it and share it. Today, our innovative (and delicious!) product development continues, combined with ambitious sustainability achievements, a fast-growing online store, a lively distribution centre a welcoming support office in Collingwood and over 70 retail stores across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Our retail experience is known for being immersive and enticing, and the team brings this to life daily. Our stores are beautifully stocked with our iconic products and delicious samples are brewed. Team members are trained to be tea experts who are passionate about the flavours, the stories of each product, and finding teas to match our customers’ different tastes. The support office can be found on a bustling street in Collingwood, Melbourne. Designed to reflect its eclectic surroundings and fueled by endless pots of tea, this is where our unique blends and original designs are developed and where our cross-functional teams collaborate and deliver strategy, operations, technology, brand, e-commerce, wholesale and more. The distribution centre is the operational hub of the business – ensuring our delicious tea, teawares and gifts are distributed to stores as well as fulfilling online orders that are delivered to our customers’ doors. Supported by a team of 30 team members and located in the western suburbs of Melbourne, it is an energetic environment.
