GeDaP (General Data Protected) is a Wirral (Merseyside) Company originally which secures Data and Documents in motion. originally established in 1991 as Team Logic the name was changed to reflect its area of expertise. Originally specialising in Records Management and Data Transformation GeDaP has the expertise to help organisations secure data to comply with the European General Data Protection (EUGDPR) regulation which will be implemented in the UK in May 2018. GeDaP can mitigate the risk from Phishing, Spear Phishing, and Man-in-the-Middle with KeyTalk technology. User authentication is with the existing IAM (Identity & Access Management System) for the installation extending beyond a user name and password to include the DNA of an approved device (hashed and salted component characteristics). Totally transparent to the end user this strong VPN authentication safeguards user access at a time passwords are increasingly open to abuse. KeyTalk also facilitates the seamless distribution of short lived certificates (as frequently as 0.5 second) dependent on requirements to safeguard "Data in Transit". Because KeyTalk goes beyond a 2FA whilst requiring no manual entry it can secure both applications and things in the Internet of Things (IoT). Printed documents represent a significant percentage of security breaches. Printix provides a Cloud Based Print Management solution which integrates with the IAM and eliminates any need for print servers and provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution which reduces costs, increases productivity and enables central of all printing. Documents can be securely printed to any network printer from smartphone, tablet or PC. Confidential documents can be securely printed with after authenticating with the application.
