Formed in January 2015, Team Tiburon is a dedicated group of students from NIT Rourkela who work all year round for designing and developing an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). Our team secured the 2nd position in SAUVC 2018 representing India at a global platform in the field of Underwater Robotics. We also competed with other Indian institutes at SAVe 2017 and secured the 3rd position. Currently, we are working towards further improving our vehicle on many frontiers and making new developments in the field of underwater systems.
