At the heart of our approach is the Team Teach 95% principle – 95% of our training focuses on understanding behaviours and encouraging de-escalation. Only 5% considers the need for physical intervention, assessed through a needs-based approach. By increasing staff confidence and competence, we support teaching, learning and caring, whilst promoting and protecting positive relationships.
